Nelsonville is home to a host of events that span the entire calendar.
The Nelsonville Music Festival has brought the likes of Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn, John Prine, The Avett Brothers, The Flaming Lips and many more to the area.
Our City is also host to an annual fireworks show that draws a huge crowd every year, a monthly art event on the public square, annual festivals such as Parade of the Hills and the Ohio Smoked Meat Festival and much more.

The City of Nelsonville and R&R pipeline announce that the far end of East Franklin Street hill will be closed on Thursday, July 12th, Friday, July 13th, and Monday, July 16th, from 7:00 am - 5:00 pm for gas line repair.
