Utility Department Worker

The City of Nelsonville, Ohio is accepting applications for the position of Utility Department Worker. The position will be working in the Water Distribution/Sewer Collection Department. Applicant must be at least 18 years of age, must have a high school diploma or GED, must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License, must obtain a Ohio Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CL) within 6 months of hire. The following certifications are a plus: Backflow Prevention license, Water Distribution license and/or Class 1 Wastewater Collection license.

The City of Nelsonville Recreation Committee will be meeting on Thursday, January 9, 2020, at 7:00 pm to discuss NatureWorks 25 grant, Hazard Mitigation grant, and other park issues.

The Public is invited to attend.


The City of Nelsonville is seeking information on the identity of the person(s) involved in the theft of Star Brick from the Downtown sidewalks. The bricks are City property and violators will be prosecuted.
