  • Nelsonville Aquatic Center Update

Last year we found a leak in the pool when it lost 2 million gallons of water. The cause of the leak was large cracks and a sink hole creating a serious safety hazard, so the 2021 season had to close early. The City of Nelsonville is happy to report, that the repairs to the pool are complete and if everything sits through the weekend without leaking, the Nelsonville Aquatics Center will begin the 2022 season.

We want to thank the Nelsonville Utility Department and Nelsonville Aquatics Center staff for making it happen! The pool will open Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 12:00 PM.

For information about hours, services, admission, and season passes please call the Nelsonville Aquatics Center at (740) 753-7003.
