The Nelsonville City Council will hold a special meeting on Monday, December 4, 2023, at 7:00 PM, at City Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to,

• Subscribe and Sign Oaths for the Office of Nelsonville City Council.
• Elect a President and Vice President of Council.
• Discuss and re- appoint or appoint administrative offices.
• Discuss committees of council and assignments.
• Discuss an appropriation for the Volunteer Fire Department.
• Go into executive session, in accordance with Ohio Administrative Code, Rule 3358:17-1-04.2 | Executive sessions.
• Discuss appointment and compensation of Law Director
• Discuss pending litigation with attorney.
• Executive session to plan for bargaining session on employee contracts.
