Street Department Announcements
The City of Nelsonville announces that Scott Street will be closed today, Tuesday, July 14, 2025, until Thursday, July 17, 2025, for roadbed repair to the street. Vehicle traffic will be detoured to Pleasantview Avenue and traffic controlled by traffic lights on Fort St and Pleasantview Avenue.
The City of Nelsonville announces that the Canal Street construction project will start Monday, July 7, 2025. The first section of concrete and paving will be to West Canal Street from West Washington to Madison Street. The roadway will be closed to all traffic.
The City of Nelsonville announces that Hocking Parkway, between both ends of Loop Road will be closed to traffic Saturday, October 26, 2024, and Saturday, November 2 and 9, 2024, from 11:00AM until 6:00PM, due to the Hocking College home football game.
